巧用“对称法”解答四种类型的平面镜作图题
(1)确定并画出虚像的位置:在物体上确定几个关键点,根据像、物关于镜面对称作出这几个关键点的对称点即为像点,连接这几个像点即为虚像。
(2)已知平面镜及两条反射光线,确定发光点:由平面镜成像的原理知,反射光线的反向延长线相交于像点S′,再根据平面镜成像的特点,像与物体关于平面镜对称,从而可确定发光点S的位置。
(3)已知平面镜、发光点及反射光线上某一点的位置,确定光路图。作出发光点S在平面镜中的像点S′,连接像点S′和反射光线上的点,与平面镜的交点即为入射点,然后连接发光点S与入射点,即为入射光线。
(4)已知物体和像的位置,确定平面镜的位置并完成光路图:由于像与物体关于平面镜对称,所以连接物体S与像点S′两点,并作出SS′的垂直平分线,即为平面镜的位置,反射光线与平面镜的交点即为入射点,然后根据光的反射定律作出入射光线。
