Colours come from light. Light goes into our eyes and hits the retina(射到视网膜). On the retina, there are about 6,000,000 cone cells(视锥细胞). People have three groups of cones: S cones for blue, M cones for green, and L cones for red. When light hits the cones, they send“messages”(发送信息) to our brain. The brain then tells us what colour we see.
